I Heart Photography

I recently came across the I Heart Faces website via one of my favorite blogs Enjoying the Small Things by Kelle Hampton. The pictures posted on this website are incredible providing a place for so many talented photographers to share their work. Each week a different category is posted and a theme is designated for the photo contest. Kelle Hampton recently served as a guest judge for the Innocent Wonder category and the pictures are awesome! Check them out at iheartfaces.com. This week's category is faces which I find fascinating. A face can show so much emotion and tell such a story. I chose to submit this photo, one of my favorites of my dear friend Court, who has been such an inspiration to me in the way she handles herself in the face of struggles, most predominantly her present fight against cancer. Her eyes are dazzling and pop like no other, and i love the attitude that emanates from her expression.
