Meet the men and women who will one day save your life. At Point Loma, the nursing school is huge and it just so happens that many of my friends are in it. They are nearing the end of their semester and this year of clinical rotations so they wanted to do a photo shoot to get some pictures to give to their professor AND these are the results! As you can see they are all beautiful, fun-loving, ridiculously photogenic people and it was so much fun taking pictures of many of my dear friends. Here are a few of my favs from the afternoon!

Full.
Tonight I go to bed incredibly full. Full of incredible home cooked food, full of family love and precious time spent with one another, and full of the realization that Christ is Risen and has saved me.
Thankful wouldn't quite describe it.
"Oh praise the One who paid my debt and raised this life up from the dead."

Chalk Dust and "Summer" Nights
The last week or so has felt like summer; balmy and warm days followed by crisp breezy nights.
Last night I went with some friends down to Seaport Village in downtown San Diego to run around, climb some trees, cover the sidewalk with chalk, and enjoy watching the sun set over the water. I felt like I was five again and it was absolutely beautiful. Why don't we just allow ourselves to be little kids more often? We got so many laughs, stares, questioning eyes asking, "What the heck are those college aged kids doing on their hands and knees, giggling, covered in chalk dust?". The real question is, why the heck not? Lesson learned: let your little five year old self come out to play every once in a while because it gets a little stir crazy and cramped if it's stuck inside of you for too long!

Weekend in Review
This weekend was one of those that you'd like to last for a while, but in reality flies by so quickly you don't even know where it went. Kicked off with a birthday celebration of our dear friend Tony...
Followed by a track meet-
Where the parents came. Aren't they cute?
And it was a tad chilly...
Followed by a Sunday with dear friends enjoying amazing homemade Filipino food and celebrating a beautiful bride to be!
