A Morning at Denny's

So we get out of class a little early at 9:10, don't have class until 1:30, have TONS of work to do...so naturally we go to Denny's!

Blossoms and Berries: OB Farmer's Market

There is just something so unique, ridiculous, bazaar, and AMAZING about OB Farmers Market. This rare gathering of street performers, hippies, earthy farmers, meat, veggies, flowers, and sweets melt together to form what is wednesday afternoons in Ocean Beach. Combine all of that with a long lost friend, good conversation, a friendly bluegrass guitar player, and a few too many handfuls of warm kettle corn and ta dah you have a wonderful full evening of happiness. Welcome back to my life OB farmers market, i've missed you.

And we're back!

The day has come, i've officially hit the half way point, first day of Junior year, it's happening...TOMORROW! What? I'm already loving it, God provides. Here are some shots of the beginning of a great year to come.

The team.

Noah's Camp

What precious children there are in this world. A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to sing in the band for a VBS at a church by my house and it was wonderful. You seriously feel like a rock star for a week, it's a trip. Everywhere I went I received starry eyed stares and smiles and waves acknowledging, "You're the girl in the band...you're famous!" But it was a week glorifying God letting all his little children know how much they are loved and cared for, a week of molding, shaping, and learning.

Childlike Faith

Lately I have been questioning the authenticity of my walk. Do I truly believe or has christianity become more of a habit than a reality that influences me to my very core? I need a fresh start, I need to become childlike in my faith again, return to the basics because...
"Jesus called them back. 'Let these children alone. Don't get between them and me. These children are the kingdom's pride and joy Mark this: Unless you accept God's kingdom in the simplicity of a child, you'll never get in.'" Luke 18 15-17
May my joy be so utterly uncontainable that I can't help myself from jumping in the air and shouting your praise to the ends of the earth.

May my gaze be fixed upon you with eyes wide open full of questions expectantly awaiting your response

Fill me with the confidence that can only come from knowing you, knowing that I am fearfully and wonderfully made for your purpose, loved and adored by my Lord just the way I am

Help me to rest in the contentment of knowing that all I need is you

Fill me with wonder, love, curiosity, desire to learn and know you more

K & L

This past weekend was spent in the wonderful city of Portland for a dear friend's wedding. I can't believe my KB is already all grown up and married. More so, I can't believe God blessed me with such an incredible friend who I grew so close to over a matter of two short years. I could have not been more please to see my running buddy, fellow Justin Bieber Chris Brown fan, crafting mate, incredible cook, and go to giggle buddy so incredibly happy with her man. Congratulations Mrs. Bright, you are loved and an incredible blessing!
