...but really they overflow, like crazy, mostly in the form of incredible people that I have had the privilege of doing this whole life thing with. I posted about my newly decorated apartment a few days ago, but really what makes this place I call home so wonderful is the people that I share it with. Meet my roommates:
Sheriess
Kelsey
Nat
Jenna
Clearly they're absoutely GORG on the outside, but their sweet, generous, fun loving spirits are what fill me with so much joy.
I was reading recently about the idea of a "home team" in one of my fav little books of life experience and advice called Bittersweet. In it the author Shana Niequest says,
"Everybody had a home team...it's the people who, near or far, know everything that's wrong with you and love you anyway. The home team people are the ones you can text with five minutes' notice saying, i'm on my way and i'm bringing tacos. These are the ones who tell you their secrets, who get themselves a glass of water without asking when they're at your house. These are the people who cry when you cry. These are your people, your middle-of-the-night, no-matter-what people."
These girls are a beautiful part of my "home team" and I am beyond blessed by them.
And while we love each other more than any materialistic item, there are a few select items we decided we can't live without...even for a brief little photo shoot.
Peanut Butter...duh. Let's be real, that's an essential for the whole human race.
F.R.I.E.N.D.S. (always on at our humble abode)
Mousse, for those insanely beautiful locks
Water Bottle, for our hydration expert :)
And spandex. Embarassing? Maybe...but oh so true.
Sheriess, Jen, Nat, Kels. You are wonderful. Let's make this year beyond memorable!
And special thanks to our pro photographer Blake!
What a cute and super fun group of ladies and roommates...love it!
